Wisconsin LECET was founded on the principle that Labor Management Cooperation is the key to success in the construction industry. Our mission is to identify, develop, and promote issues of mutual benefit and concern to both labor and management. Our goal is to make our members more productive and our signatory contractors more competitive.

Below are some resources you may find helpful:

In addition, LECET and LIUNA Wisconsin offer a number of products and services available to you as a signatory contractor, including the following:

Signatory Contractor Database: The Wisconsin Laborers’ District Council Contractor Directory is a database intended to serve as a resource to help locate and identify contractors that are signatory with the Wisconsin Laborers. Search for contractors by name only or by selecting a Contractor Category, Scope of Work, or Region of Wisconsin.  While the Wisconsin Laborers’ District Council attempts to update this database as frequently as possible, parties using it should contact the Wisconsin Laborers’ District Council at 608-846-8242 to confirm the signatory status of a contractor. To access the contractor directory, please go to https://liunawisconsin.org/contractor-search.

Market Expansion Program (MEP): Our signatory contractors have access to the national LECET’s proprietary custom project tracking program, the MEP.  The MEP is designed to search for and track construction projects for Laborers. MEP also serves as a unique project lead service for LIUNA Signatory Contractors. This innovative program is available as an online program and a mobile app in iOS and Android formats.  If you aren’t signed up already, you can sign up here: https://mep.lecet.org/signup.

Apprenticeship Program: The Wisconsin Laborers’ Apprenticeship program is the foundation of our commitment to meeting the needs of our signatory contractors for safe, skilled employees. Our apprenticeship program is registered with the U.S. Department of Labor and the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development and complies with rigorous standards. You can do your part in helping to train the next generation of skilled Laborers by participating in our Apprenticeship program. Companies across every industry sector are recognizing the value of utilizing apprenticeships to develop talent.  Create your future workforce, improve productivity, and reduce turnover by utilizing high-quality apprentices. Please see the detailed handout on the Wisconsin Laborers Apprenticeship Program in the welcome packet and contact Ray Wiatt, Apprenticeship Coordinator, at (608) 846-5768 or rwiatt@liunawisconsin.org for more information.
